Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary and Conservation Trust has unveiled Diana Museveni as the brand new patron of Ngamba Chimpanzee Sanctuary, changing First Lady Janet Kataha Museveni, who has led the sanctuary since its initiation.
This announcement was made through the commemoration of World Chimpanzee Day, the place Diana Museveni expressed her complete dedication to working with the management of Ngamba Island to preserve chimpanzees and make sure the reversal of their declining numbers in Uganda and globally.
She known as for collective efforts among the many public to preserve wildlife, shield their habitats from encroachers, and fight unlawful poaching of wildlife.
