Musician Winnie Nwagi usually finds herself battling cultural norms in Uganda. She is essentially the most controversial individual underneath Swangz Avenue.
Nwagi is thought for hassle; if she isn’t beating up a fan on stage, she is exchanging insults with a journalist or having a fierce combat with a lover again at dwelling.
However, Nwagi says she is totally different from this notion. She is an effective individual, social, and wonders why Ugandans preserve associating her with hassle.
“Very few individuals get to see the opposite facet of me, the social and welcoming individual, the enjoyment… they’ve that dangerous perspective, and each time they hear ‘Winnie Nwagi,’ they only assume hassle,” she partly stated in an interview with a neighborhood tv station.
Nwagi, nevertheless, says she won’t battle to point out the great facet of herself to individuals who have already made up their minds.
