Dancehall musician Mudra, who’s staging his maiden live performance this Friday at Zoe Grounds, Lugogo, has revealed that he refused to work with some sponsors due to his faith.
As a religious Muslim, Mudra has robust religion and beliefs and could not settle for sponsorship from alcohol manufacturers.
“I refused to work with some sponsors due to my faith. As a Muslim, it does not sit effectively with me to work with alcohol manufacturers, so I turned down their affords,” he stated in an interview with an area tv station.
However, Mudra talked about that alcohol will nonetheless be accessible on the market on the live performance, as he acknowledges that a few of his followers get pleasure from it.
