Allegations have been circulating that the Prime Minister of Buganda Kingdom, Peter Mayiga, stopped CBS FM and BBS Terefayina from internet hosting NUP President Robert Kyagulanyi, aka Bobi Wine.
These claims have principally been unfold by NUP loyalists on social media.
However, Mayiga has denied the allegations, explaining that he doesn’t affect selections at CBS Radio and its sister businesses.
He stated CBS has each editorial and administration boards which might be answerable for choosing panelists for various reveals.
“That’s not true. I don’t resolve who seems on Buganda Kingdom’s radio and tv stations. The managers select who to host, relying on the scenario on the time. We give these firms independence to function, and CBS has editorial and administration boards that run its operations,” he stated in an interview with Sanyuka TV’s Adam Kungu.
Mayiga added that because the Prime Minister, his position is to encourage administration to prioritize Buganda’s points, issues of growth, and youth, whereas giving equal alternatives to these needing protection.
