Musician, producer, and songwriter Eddy Yawe has been concerned in politics even earlier than his brother, Bobi Wine.
Yawe beforehand contested for the Kira Municipality MP place on the Democratic Party ticket in 2011.
In 2021, after conferences with NUP President Bobi Wine, who can be his brother, he selected to not vie for the place and as a substitute supported the occasion’s candidate.
However, he has now introduced his bid for the municipality seat and revealed that he’ll contest on the National Unity Platform (NUP) ticket.
He is decided to unseat outspoken FDC stalwart Ibrahim Ssemujju from parliament.
