Chief Muzukulu and supporter of Ugandan music Hajjati Namyalo Hadijja has cautioned artists in opposition to misusing funds obtained from the federal government via the federation.
She emphasised that these funds come from taxpayers and that affiliation leaders will probably be required to account for them.
“That cash was allotted by parliament, and it’s taxpayers’ cash. Anyone who misuses it would face authorized motion. Leaders will probably be held accountable, and those that fail will probably be arrested,” she acknowledged in an area tv interview.
Namyalo believes it’s important to help musicians financially, however accountability have to be maintained.
