Musician Vinka has left a lot of her followers stunned after revealing she does not personal the songs she recorded.
Vinka defined all of the songs are owned by her bosses at Swangz Avenue. She does not have copyright to them.
Vinka stated, nevertheless, she will be able to purchase the songs from Swangz Avenue bosses if she needs to proceed incomes from them after quitting the label.
“Swangz Avenue owns my music. When I go away the label, I’ll have to purchase the music. However, that may occur whenever you go away on good phrases as a result of they’ll refuse to promote them to you in case you are not at peace. It’s not solely right here in Uganda however that is how labels function internationally,” she partly stated in an interview with a neighborhood tv.
Vinka was sharing her views on the struggles between Kataleya and Kandle and their former administration, who stopped the duo from performing songs they recorded underneath Thrones Music Uganda.
