Legendary comic Amooti will probably be celebrating twenty-five years in Ugandan comedy on December 13.
However, he revealed that he hasn’t earned a lot cash from comedy because of the authorities’s failure to implement copyright legal guidelines.
“There is not any copyright legislation, so I haven’t gained a lot from comedy. However, I’ve come to phrases with it. I make folks completely happy, and if I’m fortunate, somebody books me,” he defined.
Amooti added that he at the moment survives due to promoters who sometimes ebook him for performances.
His anniversary celebration will happen at UMA Showgrounds in Lugogo, Kampala.
