Self-proclaimed promoter Norbat Events confronted the wrath of the Mayanja household on Tuesday this week after being assaulted by singer Weasel.
Weasel claimed he hadn’t been paid for the “Memories of Goodlyfe” live performance, which occurred at Hotel Africana earlier this month.
However, in an interview with Sanyuka Television, Norbat Events confirmed that he had paid Weasel 100 million Ugandan shillings as a signing payment.
“I paid Weasel 100 million Ugandan shillings simply as a signing payment, and everybody I spoke with about it advised me I wasted my cash. He even purchased a automotive with a part of the cash I gave him,” he mentioned.
Norbat added that he has all of the documentation of funds made to Weasel and can current it on the proper time.
