Alex Luswa Luwemba, often known as Muhammad, was among the many individuals who didn’t settle for their loss within the NUP primaries to Nalukoola.
He went forward and contested independently. However, issues didn’t go properly for him within the Thursday elections.
Alex Luswa polled solely 240 votes and emerged fourth within the by-election, dropping to NUP’s Nalukoola, who polled 17,764.
Luswa conceded defeat by way of his social media, congratulated Nalukoola, and prayed for higher management by way of him.
“Fair Game! God’s will has prevailed. Elias Luyimbazi Nalukoola, I wholly congratulate you upon the landslide victory. The winner takes it residence, and that is how Democracy works. For the betterment of our constituency, might Allah (swt) information you in your management. Ameen,” he wrote on his social media.
Alex Luswa was the political assistant to the late Muhammad Segirinya and believed he might have been given the chance to perform the late’s manifesto.
