Comedian Sam Okanya, generally referred to as Sammy from the defunct duo “Mighty Family,” was granted freedom on Tuesday after months of incarceration at Luzira Prison.
The Buganda Land Court Justice of the Peace dismissed the costs towards Okanya, permitting him to regain his freedom.
Okanya had been going through fees of frequent nuisance following his arrest in July this 12 months throughout a protest towards corruption involving the Speaker of Parliament, Annet Anita Among.
The NUP supporter expressed gratitude to his legal professionals and everybody who labored tirelessly to safe his launch.
