Musician Maro has made a big contribution to Ugandan music, serving to the careers of artists like Nutty Neithan, Zulitums, and others.
Speaking about Ugandan music breaking obstacles and hitting globally, Maro believes Ugandan artists should make music in numerous languages.
He defined the necessity to combine Luganda and English or different international languages to attraction to a broader viewers and assist them perceive Ugandan music.
“We need to make music in numerous worldwide languages whereas sustaining our id. Music that may be performed in every single place. Personally, I’ve had audiences overseas, however I did not have the suitable music for them. They do not perceive Luganda, so we have to combine it with English, Swahili, and different languages,” he mentioned partially.
Maro believes Diamond Platnumz’s worldwide breakthrough is partly resulting from his use of Kiswahili.
