The former Leader of the Opposition, Mathias Mpuuga, and singer Alien Skin launched a coalition final week in Kampala.
During the launch, Mpuuga introduced the formation of the Democratic Alliance, a brand new political platform.
Mpuuga revealed that Alien Skin had reached out to him, urging the Member of Parliament to assist enhance the lives of ghetto residents.
“Alien Skin reached out to me and mentioned, ‘We are a troubled group.’ I agreed as a result of he represents many younger individuals—proficient, scattered, and with out management—in and round Kampala. He mentioned they wished to behave extra formally, and I welcomed the thought. I dedicated to helping them,” Mpuuga defined in an interview with NBS Morning Breeze as we speak.
Mpuuga believes that, in collaboration with Alien Skin, they will uplift the ghetto neighborhood whereas garnering assist for his political ambitions forward of the 2026 elections.
